I bet that title got your attention!!! I wanted to share two of the cool things I did this week - the first was finishing my collage piece for Jenny Holiday's Bits and Pieces Swap - She has one of the most beautiful blogs I have ever seen. The girl has magic hands!!
This is on it's way to Julie from Jane's Apron. I am really pleased with how it turned out! I saw a sneak peak of the collage she made for me and we even used the same stamp! (the ladies in the top row - second square from the right) Isn't that cool!!!
I still have wonderful pictures to take of several absolutely lovely birthday presents I received!! I probably won't have time to do that until this weekend as Miss S has swimming lessons every night this week...we get home, she takes a bath and we head to bed!! Tonite we've already stayed up later than we should.
So to explain the second half of the title of this post...I received a lovely birthday present from my OB/GYN for my 35th birthday:) My first annual mammogram. I had a couple mammograms when I was about 18 and remembered them as being extremely painful. Well not anymore!! I was a little worried that the scars from my reduction would really hurt but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It was very uncomfortable...but only for about 15 seconds at a time....and there was no pain!! Yeah for technology advancements!

the collage is lovely, not too cramped and look so harmonious :)

I've been thinking about this whole boobie smashing and realized, by the time I'm done nursing I should be headed for my first boobie squishing seminar and be well use to my boobs being squished, mooshed, bit by babies, and man handled ;) so perhaps I might get a piercing lol!
Oh it's so lovely Raesha! Beautiful Job!
Your collage turned out so nice--I want to try that technique! And yeah for a relatively pain free visit to the Dr!
Raesha, I received the collage yesterday and really, really love it...it is totally "me"...not too frilly but still so pretty. And I just can't believe your beautiful handwriting...wow! It will take a few days but I'm going to find a spot for it and will post it in my blog...I'll let you know when I do.
Thanks again!
I have just done a recap of all the posts i missed in the last week. My goodness you have been busy. The collage is really, really wonderful.
Beautiful artwork!
I've had to get mamos and I hate them. It's not even the squishing part I hate as much as the flopping them onto the machine and having them pulled and stretched into position. *shudder*
I'd love to get a redux .. honestly.
I love your collage! I love the little girl in the top corner and the eyes and hooks are so CLEVER!! What a great idea!! Beautiful!
Love the collage and we should all get squished boobies at some stage. Glad it wasn't too painful. Sounds like you've had a busy week and deserve some well deserved early nights. Sweet Dreams
But squished boobies are good - could save a life.
I'm just catching up on a weeks worth of blogs. You have been busy. And the collage looks great.
And my mailman delivered the ATC. It's awesome. Even better in real life than on your screen. thank you.
What a cool idea! I love your collage! I just checked out that link to Jenny's blog and you're right, she is very talented. I hope someone does another "bits n pieces" collage swap one of these days--it looks so fun!
Love your blog--and I'm glad your boobs didn't take too much abuse! ;)
looks like i missed out on a great swap! this turned out beautifully!
LOVE your "Bits & Pieces"!
HATE Squished Boobies- but you're right, you can put up with it for 15 seconds.
