Just a Quickie

Remember the Halloween bunting I posted not too long ago? Here it is hanging in our front window. I love it!!! It was hard to photograph and this was the best I could do. It fits the window perfectly - cool since I completely guessed at the length. I can see myself making more of these for every holiday and birthdays.

Miss S was sick yesterday so I stayed home from work with her. I crafted and sewed pretty much all day while she laid on the couch and watched the Disney Channel non-stop for about 9 hours. I made several of each of these for Christmas - I'm playing along with Scrap Happy's countdown to Christmas projects. Click on the picture for a larger view - the journal on the left is a gratitude journal and the book on the right is coupon keeper made from one of those little vinyl scrapbooks. Thanks for the awesome projects Lain!!!

Inspired by your banner/bunting in progress earlier this month...I made one for my son's birthday. Then I love that one so much I'm now making one for Halloween. Then in a couple months from now I'll make on for Christmas. Then for Valentines Day! These things are addicting aren't they? And oh so fun to make! I can't wait to go fabric shopping to make the Christmas one! OH... just curious... do you sew your's wrong sides together than turn it out? I have a picture of the birthday one I did on my flickr account. I pinked the edges. I also made a name banner for the boys wagon. It turned out awesome! (What a long comment! :D)

B was sick yesterday too...but I sat around on the computer all day holding the baby to protect her from over eager big sister and her germs! ;)

Just today I went looking for some fabric to make one of those. I'm hoping to be cutting it this weekend. I have to wait to sew it until I get my machine back from being tuned up. I like the gifts too.
