Holy Snow, Batman

It snowed for about the last 24 hours here in Albuquerque. Here is what we woke up to:

Yes - that says 9 inches of snow. That is on the pavement in the front yard - I'm sure it is deeper in the backyard. Miss S and I have not left the house in 2 days and we are STIR CRAZY!! We have to venture out now to take Hubby to work so I hope the roads aren't too bad!!!

I love it - it is so beautiful and peaceful outside.

I'm speechless. I'm Canadian but my geography is pretty darn good and I though New Mexico was south of us? This looks more like Saskatchewan!

have fun!

Looks beautiful!! We never have snow here (SF Bay Area). It'd be fun once in a while. Your house looks so pretty! Enjoy the weather imposed coziness with Miss S!!

Ok that is so weird, because here in Michiagn we have no, none, zip, zero snow! I just had no idea that NM got snow like that! (makes is all the more appealing! ;)
