In line with cleansing my finances, I've committed to making most of gifts this year and for once and for all cleaning out my gift stash.
I have a baby shower this week for a co-worker and I've filled a big gift bag with baby wipes, a darling baby outfit and a little crafted picture for the baby. The outfit, and wipes came from my stash and I spent a whopping $1 at Dollar Tree to make the picture.
I found these darling bead board inspired frames at Dollar Tree, dug out some fun patterned paper and made a little wall hanging for this sweet little baby who's name starts with "A". I printed the "A" in Word in a font and a size that I liked, then used that as a template to cut out my patterned paper. Cheap, quick and easy, and darling.

You are so talented, Raesha!! This is darling.
I'm on board with the destash and using what I have! Let's keep each other accountable. Seriously. Root each other on and share our destashing and thrifty gifting! I'll email you soon with my first steps!
I really like this idea. I did a frame "scrapbook page" for chrismas gifts. The frames I got at ikea for $2.00 and used my stash of stuff and everyone like them. I'll have to post pictures on my blog so you can see it.
