Doing Good

I took the afternoon off work on Friday and joined Hubby and Miss S for a Target service project at the Roadrunner Food Bank. It was awesome. We packed boxes of food for their senior food program. We packed almost 400 boxes. It was a great eye opener for Miss S who has never faced hunger in her entire life - to realize that these boxes of food were for fellow New Mexicans that had little to no food. I'm hoping to spend this summer doing more family service projects.

Do you have any recommendations for us?

That's a good idea...I always find that when I serve at a food bank or nursing home or mission supper...that I'm the one who is really blessed...

Have a lovely day!
