Well - the picture doesn't really make clear if they are Jedis are not but in my mind I have made them Jedis. Isn't this the coolest picture ever???? I love it.

Laundry Room Inspiration

I love beautiful, clean laundry rooms....unfortunately ours is currently neither. But we are well on our way to what I want.....this is our inspiration for our laundry room redo. We have the new stacking washer and dryer all in place and we are going to see how well we can recreate the storage unit on the left. Instead of a shoe rack we want a rolling laundry cart for dirty laundry. Our neighbor is a woodworking genius....I think I'll print out this picture and see what he can build for us:)

Fiji, Baby

My Dad and Stepmom finally received their mission call!!!!

They will be serving in the Fiji Suva mission for 23 months as Member and Leadership Support missionaries. They report to the MTC (Mission Training Center) on 14 November for 5 days and then head to Fiji.

I can't wait to see the blessing that come to them and to our family as they serve and we diligenty support them...I am SO excited for them and a little jealous. My bestie said I better start planning my trip to go pick them up when their mission is done:) For now I'm going to focus on maybe being able to get to Vegas for their farewell.

Dad and Jan I'm so proud of you guys and can't wait to see you this weekend!! I love you!!!

Quiet

Monday was my first day back to work after 5 days in TX and 5 days relaxing at home. I'm definitely a fan of 10 day vacations. Enough time to go somewhere fun but then lots of time at home relaxing. We had an amazing time with my sister and her family - pictures will be coming soon!! Miss S stayed in TX with my sister and will be there until the 25th having fun and playing with her cousins. I left my camera with her and I'm excited to see what she took pictures of :)





The house has been so quiet with Miss S gone. I miss her but she is having such a wonderful time in TX. She calls me almost every night to fill me in on what they did that day.

Happy Independance Day!!

We'll be spending one of my favorite holidays in San Antonio - I can't wait to see the fireworks the city has planned. Enjoy your Fourth, be safe and be happy!!!

Vacation

We are heading to our nieghboring state of Texas to spend a long weekend with my sister and her family in San Antonio. See you in a few days!!
