Just a Quickie
Remember the Halloween bunting I posted not too long ago? Here it is hanging in our front window. I love it!!! It was hard to photograph and this was the best I could do. It fits the window perfectly - cool since I completely guessed at the length. I can see myself making more of these for every holiday and birthdays.
Miss S was sick yesterday so I stayed home from work with her. I crafted and sewed pretty much all day while she laid on the couch and watched the Disney Channel non-stop for about 9 hours. I made several of each of these for Christmas - I'm playing along with Scrap Happy's countdown to Christmas projects. Click on the picture for a larger view - the journal on the left is a gratitude journal and the book on the right is coupon keeper made from one of those little vinyl scrapbooks. Thanks for the awesome projects Lain!!!
That bunting is great and it looks perfect there in your window.
ReplyDeleteVery cute little gifties - and I hope Miss S is feeling better!
Very cute projects!! Get well soon, Miss S!
ReplyDeleteInspired by your banner/bunting in progress earlier this month...I made one for my son's birthday. Then I love that one so much I'm now making one for Halloween. Then in a couple months from now I'll make on for Christmas. Then for Valentines Day! These things are addicting aren't they? And oh so fun to make! I can't wait to go fabric shopping to make the Christmas one! OH... just curious... do you sew your's wrong sides together than turn it out? I have a picture of the birthday one I did on my flickr account. I pinked the edges. I also made a name banner for the boys wagon. It turned out awesome! (What a long comment! :D)
ReplyDeleteYour journal is cute!
ReplyDeleteB was sick yesterday too...but I sat around on the computer all day holding the baby to protect her from over eager big sister and her germs! ;)
Just today I went looking for some fabric to make one of those. I'm hoping to be cutting it this weekend. I have to wait to sew it until I get my machine back from being tuned up. I like the gifts too.
