Whatever I Want Wednesday

Some of you know that I play the organ at my church. I also select the hymns that we play....so Sunday was quite an adventure. I chose hymn #288 for the closing hymn, but proceeded to play hymn #289 instead! It took the whole congregation about two verses to realize what happened...and it took me until the last verse to realize what I'd done! At least I can say it's a Sunday that most won't ever forget:)

    That's so funny! ...and it's happened to me too! and the really funny thing is that the words to the song I wasn't playing ALMOST went with the song I was playing - and it wasn't until the 3rd verse that we got it straightened out and started over...
